Onica Carr is the Founder and CEO of Citizen Novelty Financial, where her mission is to educate, empower, and protect families through financial literacy and legacy planning.

Raised in the Raymond Rosen Homes, a lower-income community in North Philadelphia, Onica grew up with her five sisters. Her father immigrated from Jamaica, and although her parents worked hard to provide for their family, financial education was never something they had access to. Growing up in challenging circumstances only fueled Onica's determination to create a different future. She excelled in school, loved reading and sports, and went on to graduate from college with multiple degrees.

Today, she is also a devoted wife to her husband, Mr. Carr, and believes that faith, loyalty, and family are the foundation of everything she does.

After overcoming her own credit challenges, Onica founded Citizen Novelty Credit to help others improve their financial future. What started by helping her own family quickly grew into a business that impacted countless lives. Her dedication led her to become a Board Certified Credit Consultant, helping individuals and families build stronger financial foundations.

When Onica lost her father at just 17 years old, she experienced firsthand the devastating impact of losing a loved one without life insurance. That life-changing experience inspired her to earn her Life and Health Insurance License and establish Citizen Novelty Financial.

Today, Onica is licensed in more than 15 states and serves families across the country through financial education, life insurance, retirement planning, wealth-building strategies, and legacy planning. Her passion is helping people make informed financial decisions that protect their loved ones and create generational wealth.

For Onica, this work is about more than finances it's about changing lives, strengthening families, and ensuring every generation has the opportunity to build a brighter future.
